Hygiene Therapy
Our Hygiene Therapist works alongside our dentists focusing on preventative oral care to help keep your teeth and gums healthy. They primarily specialise in teeth cleaning, helping remove build-up that can form on the tooth surface and in between teeth where food can get trapped.

They can help show you the most effective way to clean your teeth and give you tailored advice about which products would be most beneficial for you to maintain and improve your oral care. Hygiene therapists will also give you lifestyle advice relating diet to help improve the health of your teeth.
Skipping visits to the dentist and hygienist can lead to gum disease which can have a negative impact on other systemic conditions such as heart disease and diabetes so oral hygiene is not just important for your gums.
Time between visits can vary depending on your oral health needs – your dentist and hygienist will work with you to set a routine and treatment plan that will be most beneficial for you.

If you are someone who may benefit from having more frequent scale and polishes – it may be worth while having a look at our dental plans to help reduce and spread the cost.

In surgery teeth whitening can also be performed by our Hygiene Therapist after your scale and polish to help brighten your smile.
