Philip Mullen

General Dental Practicioner

Having qualified from Sheffield University with BDS (Hons) in 2009 I have enjoyed spending the last 9 years gaining further skills practicing across South Yorkshire. Different communities require different management strategies, communication and skill sets, all of which have added to my desire to achieve best delivery of care to my patients.

In 2013 I took on an Honorary teaching role with Sheffield University teaching undergraduates and subsequently earned PG(Cert) status in Healthcare Education at Sheffield Hallam University. This qualification led to my acceptance as an Educational Supervisor in 2016, with both of my Foundation Dentists going on to win prizes at the end of their years being tutored.

Having had a passion for endodontics at undergraduate level and subsequently winning the Pitt-Ford Undergraduate Endodontic Prize, it felt natural to build my skill set in this area further.
